The much anticipated Ammo Crate number 2 is ready for action.
Each crate is unique and has the remnants of the original paint from the reclaimed wood. The bold red sets off the replica stencil 'DANGER EXPLOSIVES' just like the original.
The crate is strong and durable and is built to last - whether you are storing or moving ammunition or using it for the beautiful furniture piece it is. Solid brass hardware sets off the rustic appearance to make this crate a topic of conversation.
The crate measures 44 cm wide, 30 cm deep and 30 cm high.
Proudly hand-crafted in Australia by Aussies. Each Ammo Crate is built by craftsmen that take the time and care to ensure the corners are square, the glue is properly applied and the fittings and hardware perfectly align. These crates are built to last and will stand up to a lifetime of practical use.
"You can store ammo in it."
"Nice brass hinges."

Reigniting his passion for carpentry, Will was inspired by the genuine World War II Aussie ammunition crate that his friend and collector had. Initially wanting to make a similar version for himself, the interest in the crate persuaded him to make more.
With time on his hands for COVID-19 self-isolation, Will enjoys building crates.
